Pastor Karl Nichols is a native of Madison, Wisconsin. He is one of three siblings born to Larry and Barbara Nichols.
Pastor Nichols received his Bachelor of Liberal Arts from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee in August of 1994. In December of 2003, Pastor Nichols obtained a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in nonprofit management at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee.
Over the past seven years, Pastor Nichols has worked as an experienced management professional with a proven record of leadership in the nonprofit sector. With extensive experience in educational and healthcare program management, administrative leadership, and organizational partnerships, he has worked tirelessly for the past fifteen years to see the issues of violence prevention, infant mortality reduction, fatherhood, child advocacy, education, youth development, and nonprofit management advanced in the City of Milwaukee and now Austin, Texas. One of his proudest accomplishments is being the founder and coordinator of the African American Male Teach-in at Dr. Martin Luther King Elementary School, which celebrated an eleven year commemoration. He has enjoyed working for diverse, community-focused organizations and building strategic alliances with public and private organizations. As a tent maker for most of his life, Pastor Karl always used his various occupations and roles in the marketplace to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to fellow workers, colleagues, and the constituents he served.
Since 1997, Pastor Nichols has served in ministry in various capacities and has had a passion for teaching people how to apply the Word of God in their everyday lives. For over seven years, he served faithfully at Christian Faith Fellowship Church - Milwaukee, WI under the leadership of Bishop Darrell and Pastor Pamela Hines. In a short period of time, he was appointed deacon, ordained as minister, and promoted as Director of the Relationship ministry while also serving in the help ministries. He is the co-founder of Christian Faith Fellowship Church, Inc. in Austin, Texas.
Pastor Nichols is happily married to Linda Nichols and has three sons named Darius, 18; Aqshems Meten, 14; and Solomon, 11 who all attend schools in the Round Rock Independent School District.
